ELDER JOSEPH WILLIAM WOOD

My cute little Joey left the MTC today and is headed for the Mesa, AZ mission field!! We got to talk to him this morning while he was waiting for his flight. I miss him so much already and he has only been gone for 3 weeks. Haha, this is gonna be a long 2 years with my little bro/confidante gone! But, I am so proud of him for serving a mission and I know he will be a fabulous missionary. Here are some fun pictures celebrating Joey today!

Joey's always in a beanie!!
What cute brothers I have (on the day Joey opened his mission call).

I haven't been crying at all, have I?
T
his was the night before Joey left when he got set apart.
Also, don't you just love fluorescent colors! Gotta love the FAG BAGS!
Funny that Joey wears this ski outfit for real
and this is my 6th grade beauty!

I LOVE YOU JOEY
AND WILL MISS YOU SO MUCH!!!

Your "little" brother is so cute and has grown up so much since last time I saw him. He will be such a great missionary and keep all of us posted on him. :)

Hey-his mission is like 20 minutes away from us. You should come visit us and we can pop in for a little surprise visit. That should be an amazing mission experience for him. However, he did arrive just in time to get used to the AZ heat!

Hey Tara, This is Whitney Holbrook (Backman now). I think I saw you driving last week, it made me wonder what's going on with my little sis from the DG house. Then, I randomly came across your blog so I thought I would say hi. Hope everything is great with you.

Hi Tara! This is Teresa Epperson, I found your blog through basically everyone else's. I can't believe how grown up your brothers are! Oh and the bangs look great and yes they are a big deal, I've been trying to convince myself to get some for 6 months but I just can't do it. Keep in touch!

elder wood is serving in our ward! he's been here in fountain hills (along with the scottsdale area) for close to 5 months i think. he's doing a great job, we had a fireside just this week where he shared his accident, conversion, and testimony. my wife and i have made sure to feed him, and his comp, pretty good. we'll snap some photos of an upcoming ward missionary event with them
